Your Maremagnum
Propose.
Maremagnum can offer you sponsorship and free space to develop your proposal. Send us your project. Include in the dossier the name of your project, a brief description and the technical requirements in detail, with your name, your e-mail address and your contact phone number.
The projects are evaluated internally every two months. The criteria applied is: originality of the proposal, adaptability into space, technical and economical development of the project, scheduled events. We’ll get in touch with you when finishing the corresponding planning session.

This bin is recycled in the form of an original shop where designers of national and international prestige display and sell their exclusive clothing brands. Every two months brings about a new stylistic vision, due to the variety of designers participating and the artistic atmosphere promoted by graffiti artists and their creative inspiration.

STICKER CONTEST BCN

In 2007 the Sticker Contest BCN was held. This was the first contest ever where everybody, including artists, designers and illustrators, was invited to design an artistic space using stickers, planned for and adapted to the Maremagnum installations. The original, daring, and innovative nature of the winning proposal was awarded a cash prize. In addition, the best pieces were constructed and exhibited during the month of February 2008 at Maremagnum.

Elements is a unique exposition, organized on Internet and produced with special software. 279 photographers from all over the world show their own perspective and 1,584 images become a rainbow right before your eyes.
Come to the exhibition halls of Maremagnum from September 9th until October 31th from 10 am to 10 pm.

Al detall (Retail): A new collective photo exhibition by Barcelona Photobloggers
Maremagnum is successively staging another photo exhibition by Barcelona Photobloggers.
From 16 April you will have the chance to enjoy the new exhibition Al detall (Retail)
This time the main topic is shops. For a long time two types of retail outlets have existed side by side in our lives – local neighbourhood shops and shopping malls. The relationship between these two types is the theme of the exhibition.
The exhibition has been organised entirely via the Internet by the Barcelona Photobloggers collective and Maremagnum.

A container full of art

The Maremagnum Showroom is housing the installation "Art Container-Art Contained”, a series of monthly exhibitions of contemporary art by different artists, various cultural activities and the chance to buy or hire the works on display. The "Art Container-Art Contained” initiative is part of the Compart project whose aim is to create new channels of access to art and reduce the distance between art works and spectators.
Come to Maremagnum and enter a container full of art; it’s bound not to leave you indifferent.

Monday, Tuesday and Friday: 5.00 to 9.00 pm.
Saturday and Sunday: 12 noon to 2.00 pm and 4.00 to 9.00 pm.
