Water, wood, fire, earth and metal are a metaphor for the lifecycle, emotions, seasons and light. Each of them represents a phase that generates the next.
Elements called worldwide for photographers to participate in this exhibition that was organized entirely through the Internet.
People all around the world responded massively to the call of Barcelona Photobloggers and sent their photos to a special group on Flickr, the online application for sharing photos. A total of 1584 photos have been uploaded and each of them shows a personal vision and interpretation of the five elements of ancient China.
Elements will be exposed from September to October 2008 in Maremagnum.
